Donner to Squaw.
January 28, 2007: No snow anywhere except the cornice along the ridge from Donner to Squaw--guess that's the tour, then!
For added challenge we skirt the other side of Anderson Peak...should have brought the ice axes.

Low snow made for a difficult descent of Red Mountain. And the terrain at the head of Carpenter Valley is full of short little cliffs!
